Power Grid is a board game where players bid on power plants to power cities, and in turn earn money to buy better plants.

A key game dynamic is the power plant auction. Buying the plant for more than its value is a recipe for disaster.

Many factors go into correctly pricing a power plant (game theory, marginality, supply/demand of resources, etc.)

This auction calculator attempts to "price" a power plant given the myriad of scenarios the player faces.

To use the calculator, the user inputs the relevant parameters, marks the current fuel market, and with one click the max bid is calculated.
